Did your parents ever hit you when you were a child?
Yup. Many many times. It was a norm here but my parents took it to the next level. My dad and sometimes my mom used to hit me with a belt. I remember multiple occasions that my dad chased me with his belt in his hand to "discipline" me.
Just to get it off my chest, one night I was playing soccer with my friends. It was getting late. My dad told me to go home but I insisted that I wanted to play a little more. He said "OK! But you have to accept one thing first!". I happily said: "OK! What?" He replied: "That I slap your cheeks two times". I was upset but I really wanted to play so I said: "OK!" He slapped my face so hard that I went to home running while I was crying out loud. I can still feel the pain!
When I deserved it which is often 😁
Rarely. I only remember when it was undeserved.
My mother as good as never.
