They used sex workers to become successful and are now abandoning them. It's common for people/companies to enjoy the services of sex workers and disrespect them at the same time.

Do the lack of quotation marks in Cormac McCarthy’s writings annoy you?

Yes. I've done a 180 on this because I liked that style of writing in high school, but now I think it would annoy me when reading it. The only book I've finished is Blood Meridian, which I liked when I read it, but I'm not sure if I'd still like it.

It can feel more like a gimmick than something that adds to the writing.

What was the last awkward experience that you had?

I was in a drive-thru and someone decided to walk through the drive-thru, so already a little strange because they were walking behind my car. And then when the employee took my order it was obvious they were very frustrated and having a hard time. Then while I was paying for my food the big ass truck in front of me in line that got their food already stopped and this lady got out of the passenger side and starts walking toward my car because they forgot her fries. So she complained with the person in the window with me in the middle feeling a little a w k w a r d.
