How do you respond to a text that says “I’m thinking about you” ?

"Oh, that's nice of you. How are you doing?" Something like that. I'm not sure if the person who said this has romantic intentions, though. You may want to get clarity on that. If they won't say it directly, ask them (as difficult as that may be). Like "Do you mean this in a romantic way?" If you aren't interested, just say, "Thank you, but I don't feel that way," or something like that.

I'd text back "who can blame you😏😘" I'm not uncomfortable with odd texts out of nowhere. I often text friends and family strange things that pop into my head. I just this morning texted a funny thought I had about Mike Pence giving Trump head with a picture of Jesus Christ staring at them. And my friend texted back " what's wrong with your brain?😝😝" 😁

Depends who sent it - like I might do flirty and ask exactly what they were thinking, or 'good things, I hope' if it's not somebody like that and they are friendly then probably just 'you're in my thoughts as well'
