At what age do you think would be the “perfect” time to have children (if you chose to have them)? Be specific. Why?

I'm 31, and a few days ago a child asked me for help and internally i was like oh my God don't ask me for help I'm just a germ

So I'm thinking mid-50s may provide the stability

  1. Mature enough to raise them well. Should in principle have the money and living space to raise kids in a comfortable environment. Its also young enough that there is energy to raise and time to work to fund their raising.

Early to mid 30's for me. I really want to have my finances sorted, a life partner who shares my values on parenthood, and to deal with my deepest parental-related issues in therapy. I still have a ways to go on all that

I've chosen not to have kids, but if you want to have them, I suppose in your late 20s-early 30s might be a good time. That way you've had time to think about it and be mature in your decision, and you might also be more financially stable.

40 because you've had your 20s for fun, 30s for getting everything together + fun, etc.

27 to early 30s maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️. I worked with little kids before and seriously they take so much energy, if you have kids when you're above 35... say hi to backaches and it's tiring really. Around 27 people's brains is completely developed(usually the brain completely developed around 21-24 yo if I'm not mistaken) and hopefully around 27 most people are financially stable. But that's just my opinion...

I would never choose to have kids.

Another year of fighting to get a hysterectomy hear we go again. 😅

Well I'm already blowing past this age😆 But I'd say early to mid 30s. I feel you're mature enough, and financially you'remore set (generally)😁

For me, early 20s. I was more energetic, body would have bounced back quicker, I used to love playing with kiddos back then… AND…. I’d be free of responsibility by now and ready to enjoy me time!

When I get a partner + 3 to 5 years. I want to sort some things out and stabilize my life before having kids.
